FIT Hovädzie burgre s keto žemľami

INGREDIENTS

Dry ingredients:

  • 4,5 oz. almond flour 
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder 
  • 2 teaspoon of fresh rosemary 
  • dried chive


Wet ingredients:

  • 4 oz. mascarpone cream cheese 
  • 6 oz. grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 whole egg 

 


Burger meat:

  • 12 oz. ground lean beef meat 
  • 2 teaspoon garlic 
  • pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, or thyme 


Filling:

  • Red onion 
  • Tomatoes 
  • Rucola
  • Mustard + mayo 

 

METHOD

  1. Preheat an oven to 180°.
  2. Mix together all the dry ingredients.
  3. In separate glass bowl mix cream cheese and mozzarella.
  4. Put for about 1 minute into the microwave until melted and thoroughly mix until smooth.
  5. Add 1 egg and mix again until well combined.
  6. Add the almond flour with herbs and process it until it forms a dough.
  7. Wrap it into a plastic wrap and put in to the freezer for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from freezer and cut into 4 equal pieces.
  9. Spray your hand with oil and then roll the dough into 4 equally sized balls.
  10. Put back into the freezer for another 15 minutes so they don’t lose shape while baking.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes and leave for 15 minutes on cooling rack before use.
  12. While waiting for the buns to cool down prepare the meat and filling.
  13. Mix all ingredients for the meat together and form 4 equally sized patties.
  14. Grill the meat around 3-4 minutes from both sides until well-done or the way you like it the most.
  15. Lastly cut the buns a half and fill it up with all prepared ingredients.

  • 21g protein
